Dear Presley
Today was the day that you would be starting 1st grade. Here’s what I know about 1st grade and girls who would be your friends. They all wear “Jojo” bows, cute glittery shoes and adorable backpacks. So, I know you would fit right in. You would either have one of the three first grade teachers. I would be fine with any of them. The school supply list isn’t as long as your brothers, but I would buy you a million school supplies all in Glitter if you asked for it.We would have made a day out of school shopping with lunch, shopping and getting our nails done.I can imagine how much you would have already grown. I’m sure your hair would be so long, and curly at the ends.It would be you and Righley’s last year together at Cairo, but you would soon have so many of our Tribe friends that it felt like you had siblings everywhere. Addilyn would look after you, and you would look after Elise, Blakley and Ellie. The boys would drive you crazy, but you would secretly love them as brothers.I’m sure we would have already ended softball with you, and you would already know how to flip more than me. We could get rid of your training wheels on your bike and you would be a pro at swimming. I’m sure you would have too many friends to count at Cairo, and all of the teachers would love you especially Mrs. Missy. I can see you cheesing for all of the photos, and you would want me to walk you to your room unlike your brother who is too cool for me.I just know you would love school and making new friends with your loving personality. I really wish you were here to make all of these dreams come true, but I’m positive your in a much better place in heaven.Happy First Day of First Grade in Heaven, Presley Grace!
