What to do 200 Days Out From Disney

HopefulTravelMom

You've ordered the Mickey ears from the store. Your #Disney Magicband colors are picked out or you've ordered the adorable ones with designs. You have even either ordered each shirt for each day, or if you're like me you've made them yourself. What's next? FOOD!! Duh! #Yum

Are you on a Disney Plan? I signed up for the Disney Dining Plan. It's not the Deluxe or the Quick Service, but the medium one. It's kind of best of both worlds! A little bit of quick service, but with table service as well! I'm not completely new to the Disney Dining Plans, because I've planned others as well, but I'm new to the medium one. We are still 200 days out, but that means we are 20 days closer to being able to make reservations. If you are like me and staying at a Disney Resort, you can make them 180 days out. According to my friends at #SmartMomsPlanDisney, you need to make your reservations as soon as you are able too. So, today I am going to start planning out mine!

First: I'm going to be spending a week or so talking to my parents who are also going with us, since my mother is the pickiest.. she will be making a lot of choices. Thankfully Disney has all of their Restaurants and menus online, which means we can really plan ahead. We can go ahead and check out what each restaurant has, if it's worth it and make sure the reviews are as amazing as it seems. I follow the group Smart Moms Plan Disney on #Facebook, and they also have a dining group where I get a lot of feed back from.

Second: This website: https://distripplanner.com/ is helping TREMENDIOUSLY!!!! I'm not sure who came up with this website, but they are genius!! Basically, you put in everyone who is in your party, arrival date, preferences, and then choose the restaurants for each time of day. The website will tell you if your over or too short on your credits, how much you may be saving, or if your over in spending.

If you haven't already checked out this site, than I highly recommend it!

I've went through menus, and tried each restaurant just to see where we are with credits. I'm in love with this website. It makes vacation planning so much easier.

I love the fact that I don't really have to worry about having so much extra money for food and that it's already paid for besides TIPS! Make sure you bring extra money for tips! These Disney employees always deserve amazing tips, which is not included in your dining plan.

EKKK! We are getting closer and closer to our Disney Trip. I can hardly contain my excitement! Are you planning your trip? How many days are you to Disney? I'm ready for our Happily Ever Disney Trip!
